MdB Dr. Sandra Detzer visits the FMF

How can raw materials be replaced with sustainable materials and recycled intelligently? This was the guiding question behind the visit to the FMF on 7 March 2024 by Dr Sandra Detzer, Member of the German Bundestag and economic policy spokesperson for the Green Party, and Chantal Kopf, Member of the German Bundestag.

The delegation met with the FMF Board of Directors led by Prof Dr Bastian Rapp and Prof Dr Anna Fischer, the management (Dr Stefanie Meisen and Stefanie Kuhl) and project managers (Prof Dr Ingo Krossing and Dr Carl Schirmeister), took part in a tour of various laboratories and gained an insight into the FMF's research work. The politicians took the time to share and discuss the technological challenges of FMF research and took a final group photo.

 "We could have spent many more hours with you and listened to all the great things you are creating," summarised the delegation.
